In my previous position as the Document Control Manager for International Paper's Red-River Mill, I demonstrated a strong commitment to streamlining processes and embracing cutting-edge technologies. Recognizing the importance of efficiency and innovation, I played a pivotal role in spearheading the transformation of the mill's Document Management System from outdated paper copies to the advanced digital system known as Meridian.
At the forefront of this transformative project, a dedicated team and myself meticulously scanned and digitized nearly 75,000 documents. This initiative resulted in the creation of a centralized and easily accessible digital database, ensuring the seamless preservation, security, and retrieval of critical information necessary for the mill's day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and historical reference. By implementing the Meridian system, Red-River Mill underwent a significant revolution in the way documents were accessed and managed.
